Bahamas Beaches

The Islands of The Bahamas are some of the most beautiful and exotic in the world and the islands are known to have some of the best beaches anywhere.  Beaches range from white sandy beaches, golden sand beaches and pink sand hideaways.

Whether you are in the Bahamas for relaxation, a romantic getaway or adventure tops the list there is a beach somewhere in the Bahamas that suits you.  The islands are home to some of the largest resorts situated along the coast, but you do not have to be stay close to the coast to enjoy the ocean. Most of the beaches are open for public use and everyone of them are beautiful.  

Xanadu Beach located on the charming island of Freeport which is just 50 miles away form Miami on Grand Bahama Island is one of the prettiest and busiest with a dive shop and a host of activities both on and off the water.

                                                             

Taino Beach is another gem, with a playground and plenty of open stretches of sand and surf.  It is a family favorite.   The feeling of the sun on your shoulders and the sand between your toes is very exhilarating.

Gold Rock  Beach situated of the beaten path  is another gem waiting to be discovered.  It is away from the hustle and bustle and a winding boardwalk leading through a mangrove forest will get you to this out of the way gem, but for those who make the effort to get there will be rewarded with excellent views.

On the Island capital of Nassau you will find Colonial structures, fine restaurants, and a bustling nightlife.  Its home to the famous Cable  Beach with powder soft white sand and is considered to be the best on the island.
                                                                                         


To get away from it all Great Iguana Island is designed for relaxation, chilling in a hammock, searching for shells or going for a swim with that special someone.  Badge beach is favorite to both locals and tourist a like





If deep sea fishing is your forte Devil's Point is an excellent starting point...




The small cays around Alice Island have they own secluded beaches where you can enjoy the Bahamas and get away from it all.
