Roatan Island living

On the lsland of Roatan life is simple.  local goods are inexpensive and you can mostly find all you need at the local grocery.

My first impression of this gem was WOW!! now this is beautiful.

The island paradise is just two hours away form Miami Florida, and five hours away from San Diego California. Yet this little island paradise has been overlooked for many years by tourists, and even investors.  This is the place if you seek relaxation, tropical island life and great diving.  The island even offers  lucrative opportunities for investors.

Roatan offers the best of two worlds.. with modern infrastructure and facilities, an international airport, public and private hospitals, and a large amount of marinas, the island still maintain its untouched charm.  With miles and miles of remote sandy beaches, and small fishing villages just feet away from one of the best coral reef in the world, this island might sound like just another Caribbean island, but this is the place for people who want to get away from it all.

if you love the outdoors, and the water there is no better place in the western Caribbean to visit than this little paradise island.  The diving, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and boating options are endless.  If fishing is your goal then you are in luck, because this island has endless opportunities for all kinds of fishing..

The fun does not stop outside of the water.  Hiking, biking horse back riding,or just exploring for that hidden cove or a fresh lobster for lunch are popular activities.

Restaurant abounds in Roatan.  What ever your taste be it local, or international cuisine you're sure to have your taste buds alight in this island.  The fresh seafood  on the island is second to none.  The lobster, crab, shrimp, conch, and an a variety of tropical fish are served almost anywhere on the island.

On Friday and Saturday nights the bars on West End host live music, and Caribbean disco is where everyone can be found.

The people of Roatan are kind, and the life style is simple

This is what the road to the coastal town of Swakopmund looks like. The scenery is sparse but beautiful, and the roads are excellent despite being dirt roads.
